postmail is the part of Postfjord that keeps in touch by email, and it comes with every plan, with a monthly sending allowance.
The list you already have
The people who write to you on Instagram and Facebook become contacts in Postfjord, and an automation can ask for an email address in the conversation. postmail sends to those contacts, so there is nothing to export and import.
Moving from another email tool? Import a CSV file from Mailchimp, Brevo, Klaviyo, MailerLite, Kit, Substack, beehiiv, Squarespace or Shopify, or read your list straight from Brevo or Klaviyo with a key. People who unsubscribed or bounced there come along as unsubscribed, and nothing is sent when you import.
Consent is the point, not a checkbox: an address collected in a chat gets a confirmation email and counts only once it is confirmed, every campaign carries an unsubscribe link, and an unsubscribe is honored everywhere in Postfjord at once.
Write it like a post
A block editor with your brand colors and fonts: text, images from the same media library, buttons, columns and a card that turns one of your published posts into an email section. Claude drafts the email from a short brief, in the same brand voice as your posts, and suggests subject lines.
Before a send, Postfjord checks the things that go wrong: a missing subject, a broken or risky link, an image that is too heavy, text that will not read on a phone, a sender address that is not complete.
Landing pages and link in bio
Make a link in bio page and landing pages for one offer, class or guide at your own address, like harbor-coffee.postfjord.page. A signup form on the page brings new contacts straight into your list, with an email to confirm. Each page counts its views, taps, bookings and sales, and has a QR code to print. Sending that respects the inbox
Mail goes out from servers in Stockholm. Bounces and spam complaints are handled automatically: an address that hard bounces or complains is never emailed again, from any workspace.
Each email report shows opens, clicks and unsubscribes, and the bookings and Stripe sales the email's links brought in.
FAQ
Do I need my own domain?
No. Campaigns go out from a shared Postfjord sending domain, with your company name and address in the footer. On a paid plan you can send from your own domain instead, with three DNS records. Postfjord shows the steps for your DNS provider, such as Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace or Wix, and can email them to whoever looks after your domain.
Is it a separate subscription?
No. postsocial, postchat and postmail are all included in one Postfjord plan. The plans differ in volume, never in features.
