What's new in Postfjord

The bigger news, in a few words and a short film. Sign in and it is already there for you.

A new look for the whole app

We gave the whole app the same look as postfjord.com. Everything you use is still where it was.

  • The dashboard opens on the night fjord. Bo climbs as the week goes by, and the top line tells you how many posts go out this week.
  • The calendar shows your week as a line of days on a phone and as seven columns on a computer. Drag a post to another day to move it.
  • Email automations read from top to bottom: what starts it, each email, and the wait between them. Tap a step to change it.
  • The Inbox keeps the newest message and the reply box in view on a phone.

Light and dark mode both have the new look.

A page to write your own posts

Dock is new in the menu, a quiet page for writing a post in your own words.

  • The room left on each channel shows under the page as you type, and a thin line marks where Instagram cuts to "... more".
  • Copy puts the text on your clipboard. Dictate writes down what you say, word for word.
  • Check grammar only fixes spelling and punctuation, and leaves out fixes that could change what you mean. You accept or reject each one.
  • Write it myself hides the AI buttons and keeps your ideas away from Claude, even when someone else opens them.

Your ideas moved here from the Manager, and your drafts are yours alone.

Two-step verification

Your account can now ask for a code from your phone when you sign in.

  • Turn it on under Account, then Two-step verification. Scan the QR code with an app like Google Authenticator or 1Password.
  • Save your recovery codes. Each one lets you in once if you lose your phone.
  • Passkeys still work with one touch. Face ID and Touch ID count as both steps.

Someone who learns your password still cannot get in without your phone.

Sign in with Face ID

Signing in to Postfjord can now take one look at your phone.

  • Add a passkey under Account, then Passkeys. Your phone or computer asks for Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or your screen lock.
  • Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in page. Some browsers also offer it when you tap the email field.
  • A fake sign-in page gets nothing. A passkey only works on app.postfjord.com.

Your password and Google sign-in keep working. Passkeys work in the browser for now, and come to the iPhone and Android app later.

See what each automation sells

Your automations can now show money, not only clicks.

  • Connect Stripe in a minute. Paste a restricted key that can only add our webhook.
  • Put a payment link in a DM. When someone buys, the sale shows on that automation, with the amount.
  • Emails and pages too. Email reports and the new Results card on the dashboard show the month's sales.

Open Settings, then Apps, and find Bookings and sales.

Give a month, get a month

Know someone who posts for a business? Send them your link.

  • Your own link. Find it under Account, in the card Give a month, get a month.
  • A month for both of you. When your friend starts a paid plan, they get a month free, and so do you on a paid plan.
  • See it add up. The card counts who signed up and who started a paid plan.

Connect Claude and ChatGPT with a sign-in

Claude and ChatGPT can now work in Postfjord without a key.

  • Add Postfjord as a connector with the address https://app.postfjord.com/api/mcp.
  • Sign in and press Allow. You pick the workspace and whether the app may only read, write drafts or also schedule.
  • Remove it any time under Settings, Apps, Your keys.

Then ask Claude or ChatGPT to plan your week of posts, and find the drafts in your calendar.

Share your best posts again

Your best posts can work more than once.

  • Mark it once. Press Evergreen on a post under Published.
  • Pick the days. One post comes back on each of them, starting with the ones that came back least.
  • A fresh caption every time. Written in your brand voice, so nothing repeats word for word.

It waits in Drafts for you to check, or posts on its own if you choose. Find it under Posts, in the Evergreen tab.

Postfjord on your desktop and on Android

Postfjord now has a download page.

  • Mac and Windows. Install Postfjord from Chrome or Edge. It opens in its own window with its own icon.
  • Android beta. Download the app on your phone and sign in with your email and password.

Everything is at postfjord.com/download.

See which DMs turn into bookings

Your automations now count bookings, not only taps.

  • Connect your booking system. Calendly and Acuity take a minute. Mindbody, Momence, Glofox and others work through Zapier or Make.
  • See what works. An automation that sent someone to your booking page shows how many of them booked.
  • Say thanks by email. Everyone who books gets the tag Booked, and that tag can start an email automation.

Open Settings, then Apps, and find Count your bookings.

Get more reviews from happy customers

The best moment to ask for a review is right after someone books or buys.

  • Pick Ask for a review when you make a new automation.
  • Paste your review link from Google, Yelp or Trustpilot.
  • Postfjord sends the thank you in their DMs when they book or pay through a link you sent them in a chat.

Instagram and Messenger allow it within 24 hours of their last message, so it works best right after a conversation. It needs your bookings or Stripe sales connected under Settings, Apps.

You can now post to X from Postfjord, from the same calendar as your other channels.

  • An add-on for one workspace. It costs $12 a month and includes 40 posts to X a month, with or without links. Add it on any plan except Free.
  • Counted the way X counts. The X tab shows 280 characters the way X does: a link is 23 and an emoji is 2. A post can hold up to 4 images or one video.
  • You always know where you are. The X tab shows how many of the month's 40 posts are used and scheduled. A post that fails does not use one, and you are never charged for more.

Open Account, find X add-on and press Add X add-on. Then press Connect on the X card under Channels.

Your own email domain in three records

Sending your campaigns from an address on your own domain got a lot simpler.

  • Three records instead of five. The two that were for bounced emails are now an extra you can add later, or never.
  • Steps for your DNS company. Postfjord sees where your domain's DNS is kept, like Cloudflare, GoDaddy or Namecheap, and shows that company's own steps with a button that opens it.
  • Send the steps on. If your web agency or a colleague looks after your domain, type their email and they get the records and a short guide.

Open Email settings at the top of Campaigns and find Send from your own domain.

All your channels on one page

Open Analytics and you see every channel added up for the last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days.

  • Followers together, and how many you won or lost.
  • Your five best posts across every channel, with a link to each one.
  • The best times to post, measured against your usual, so one big account does not decide for the rest.
  • Your channels side by side, as one card per channel on a phone.

Pick a channel under Each channel for its own charts, now with bigger labels.

Practice an automation before you build it

In the Academy lesson Build the automation, you can now set up a comment to DM automation for pretend. Pick the post, the keyword and the messages. Then watch pretend comments come in and see who gets a reply and a DM. Nothing is posted or sent.

  • Short films show the steps in four lessons.
  • A brief builder opens the composer with your brief.
  • Mark a lesson done and see how far you are in each course.

Four free marketing courses

The Academy now teaches the marketing around the posts, not only the app. Four free courses, each with five short lessons:

  • Find your customer and your message
  • Plan a month in an hour
  • Get more customers from Instagram
  • Grow an email list from social

Every lesson has a small exercise, like writing your one sentence message, and ends with a button to the right place in Postfjord.

Get a diploma from the Academy

Sign in to the Academy on postfjord.com with a code we email you. Your progress is saved on your account, so you can pick up on any device.

  • A diploma per course when every lesson is done and every question is right.
  • Postfjord Certified Marketer when you have the diplomas for Get started with Postfjord, Turn comments into customers and Write posts people stop for, and pass a short final exam.
  • Add to LinkedIn with one button, and a page anyone can check.
  • Lessons tick themselves off when you have already done them in Postfjord.

A new look, inside and out

The fjord from our logo now runs through all of Postfjord. The site and the app share the same colours, the same type and the same Bo.

  • Sign in opens on the fjord at night, with Bo rising over the mountains.
  • Your dashboard greets you by the time of day, and Bo climbs and sets with your workspace's clock.
  • An empty screen shows Bo and tells you what will appear there, so you always know what to do next.
  • New post numbers its steps, from picking channels to choosing a time.

Light or dark is yours to pick under Account.

Bo works while you sleep, and asks before anything goes out

Bo is the manager in your workspace. Ask in plain words, like "what is in the calendar next week?" or "write a post about Saturday's class", and Bo reads your calendar, your channels and your brand voice before it answers.

Give Bo a routine, such as every Monday at seven, and the drafts are waiting when you sit down. Anything that would go out comes to you as a card with an Approve button. Nothing is posted or sent until you press it.

Bo has a face now, too. It looks up while it thinks, nods when an approved card has gone through and shakes its head when one did not.

Post to Instagram, Threads and LinkedIn from one place

Write a post once and send it to every account you connect. Each channel gets its own tab if you want to change the words for it.

  • Instagram works without a Facebook Page. Sign in with Instagram and you are ready.
  • Threads is a channel of its own.
  • LinkedIn posts go to your own profile. Postfjord reminds you before LinkedIn asks you to sign in again.

Connecting shows every step as it happens and tells you when the account is in.

Instagram and Threads open to every account once Meta has approved them for Postfjord. Until then they work for the accounts we test with.

Turn comments into conversations

Pick a post, pick a word like "guide" and write the message. When someone comments that word, Postfjord answers the comment and sends them a DM with your link.

  • Send the link straight away, or ask a short question first.
  • Remind people to look in their message requests, where a first DM often lands.
  • See why an automation stayed quiet, for example when that person already got a reply on the post.

Every new automation starts from a ready template, so the first one takes a couple of minutes.
