Press Dictate, say what the post is about, and press stop. The words land in the brief as text, without the "um" and the false starts. Press Generate draft and Claude turns it into a post for each channel, in your brand voice.
Most owners know exactly what they want to post. Typing it on a phone between two customers is the part that never happens.
Where you can dictate
- The composer. Talk through the post and get a draft for Instagram and Facebook.
- Ideas. Say the idea the moment you have it. It waits there until you plan the week.
- Email. In postmail, which is in testing, you can dictate the brief for a newsletter too.
Say it the way you would tell a colleague
You do not have to sound like a caption. "Saturday we have tulips in twelve colours, ten for eight dollars, open until four, first time we do this, keep it short and happy" is a good brief. Claude adds the hook, the structure and the call to action from your brand voice.
Names, prices and times come through the way you said them. Check them in the brief before you generate, since that is the one step a machine can still get wrong.
Up to three minutes, any major language
A recording can be up to three minutes, which is plenty for one post or one email. Speak Swedish, English, German, Spanish or most other major languages; the brief comes out in the language you spoke, and the post follows the language of your brand voice.
Your recording is not kept
The audio is turned into text by OpenAI and then discarded. Postfjord never stores it, and OpenAI does not use it to train its models. A minute of dictation costs less than a cent from your plan's AI budget.
FAQ
Does dictation work on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone and Android and in the installed web app. The first time, the phone asks for access to the microphone.
Is my voice recording stored?
No. Only the text you keep ends up in Postfjord.
Is dictation included in my plan?
Yes, on every plan, including Free. It comes out of the same monthly AI budget as your drafts.
What if it gets a word wrong?
The text lands in the brief, not in the post, so you can fix a name or a time before Claude writes anything.
