A post gets people's attention. A Flow makes sure the next step is waiting for them: the DM with the link, a page with a signup form, and the emails that follow. You set it up once, and it runs until you close it.
- 14posts at most in one Flow, spread over the days you pick
- 42days at most for a Flow that Bo plans from one sentence
- 10Flows running at once. A Flow closed to new signups does not count
What a Flow is
Four things you may already use, joined so that each one hands the person to the next. Postfjord writes the connection on the line between two steps, so you can see how it fits together.
- Post: Ends with: comment START
- DM: Sent to everyone who comments START
- Landing page: Your offer and a signup form
- Emails: A welcome at once, more after
Postfjord ties the steps together for you
- Asks people to comment START: the post and the automation share the word, and the automation answers on that post.
- The DM links to the page: leave the DM's link empty and the page's link goes in by itself.
- A signup starts the email: everyone who signs up on the page, or gives their email in the DM, joins the Flow.
- A person who joins through both the DM and the page gets each email once.
A real Flow: a birthday gift at a hot yoga studio
Hot Yoga Uppsala, a studio in Sweden, built this Flow by hand on October 11, 2026. A pinned post asks people to comment the word for birthday. The DM checks that they follow the studio and sends a page where they give their name and date of birth. On their birthday they get a class for two.
- Post: Instagram and Facebook: comment the word
- DM: Checks they follow, then sends the page
- Page with a form: Name and date of birth
- Welcome email: Your gift comes on your birthday
- Birthday email: Every year, the class for two
- 17people started the DM in the first eight days
- 15of them tapped through to the page
- 11signed up and confirmed their email
Built from five steps with Add to Flow, live with one press of Go live. The emails keep going out on each person's birthday, every year, until the studio closes the Flow.
Ideas you can set up today
Each idea below is a Flow you can build from the steps in Postfjord. The sentence under it is what you can give Bo to plan it for you.
Fill a beginner course, for a gym or a studio
- 6 posts: Over three weeks: classes, a tip, a member story
- Comment START: DM with the course page
- Course page: Dates, price and a signup form
- Welcome email: Then a reminder before day one
Tell Bo: "Fill 20 spots in my 6-week beginner program that starts November 3. $149, early bird $119 until October 24." Set Close after this many signups to 20, and the Flow closes to new people by itself when the course is full.
A new menu, for a café
- 4 posts: The new dishes, one a week
- Comment MENU: DM with the menu page
- Menu page: The dishes and a signup for news
- Email: Show this email for a free cookie
Tell Bo: "Get 50 people to try our new fall menu. Show this post for a free cookie with any coffee."
Book intro calls, for a coach
- Reels: One tip each, ending with: comment CALL
- Follow check: The link comes once they follow
- Page with Booking: Opens your Calendly or Acuity
- Email: What to bring to the call
Tell Bo: "Book 10 free 20-minute intro calls for my 8-week running coaching program."
A birthday club, for a salon or a studio
- Pinned post: Comment BIRTHDAY to join
- DM: Checks they follow you first
- Form: Name and date of birth
- Birthday email: Every year at 9:00 AM on the day
Tell Bo: "When someone comments BIRTHDAY on our pinned post, check they follow us, send them a link to a form for name and date of birth, and on their birthday send a class for two."
A free guide that grows your list, for a creator
- Reel: Comment GUIDE for the free guide
- DM: The guide, then: what is your email?
- Welcome email: Sent once they confirm
- Two more emails: Two days apart, your best tips
No landing page needed: the DM asks for the email address itself.
Let Bo plan it
Open Flow, press Let Bo plan it and write what you want to happen. Pick the first and the last day, the channels and how many posts. Bo writes the plan and makes every part as a draft, in a few minutes.
Fill 20 spots in my 6-week beginner program that starts November 3. $149, early bird $119 until October 24.
Here is the plan: 6 posts over three weeks, a DM for everyone who comments START, a page with the price and a signup form, and two emails.
Why this planI need one thing: the link to your schedule. I left [link to the schedule] where it goes.
Make the DM shorter.
Done. The rest of the plan stays as it was.
Every part is a draft. Nothing goes out before you press Go live.
Bo never makes up a link, a price or a date. Where one is missing he leaves a blank in square brackets and asks you. Bo also picks a picture from your media library for each post when one clearly fits.
Or build it step by step
Press Start building
A new Flow opens. Give it a name, like Birthday gift.
Add a step
Pick Post, Automation, Landing page, Welcome email, Email or Birthday email. Each one opens the editor you already know.
Press Add to Flow
Where the editor usually says Schedule, Save or Publish, it says Add to Flow. The step now says Ready.
Press Go live
Postfjord shows what will happen and asks first. Then it schedules the posts, turns on the DM, publishes the page and starts the emails.
Everything saves as you go. Leave in the middle and the Flow waits in your list as a draft.
See what it brings in
A running Flow counts its own numbers when you open it.
- Posts out and waiting, comments with the word and DMs sent.
- Email addresses collected and confirmed.
- Emails sent and clicks in them.
- Page visits, taps on the page and signups.
Close it when the campaign is over
Press Turn off and pick how. Close to new signups stops the posts that are not out yet, the DM and the form, and keeps sending the emails to people who already joined. Stop everything pauses the emails too. A Flow can also close by itself on a last day or after a number of signups, and Open again brings it back.

FAQ
Does anything go out before I press Go live?
No. Every step is saved as a draft: the posts wait, the automation is off, the page is not online and nobody gets the emails.
Do people have to confirm their email?
Yes. Every address from the DM or the signup form gets an email to confirm first, and a person who asked you to stop never gets a DM.
Is Flow on the Free plan?
No. Flow is on Solo, Studio and Agency. A Flow uses the same posts, automations, pages and AI budget as everything else in your workspace.
Can I start a Flow from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
Yes. Connect Postfjord to your AI app and say "start a flow" and what you want. It shows you the plan and asks before it launches.
