An AI agent is an AI that does the work, not only the talking. You give it a goal, and it takes the steps in the apps it can reach. Postfjord is the app it reaches for your marketing: your social media, your email list, your landing pages and your DMs, in one workspace.
Every agent below connects the same way, through Postfjord's MCP server or its REST API. You choose what it may do, and nothing goes out until your rules say so.
What an agent can do in Postfjord
- Posts: read your calendar and your numbers, write posts in your brand voice and put them on the right days as drafts, or schedule them.
- Email: write an email draft in your brand colors, tell you how the last one did, and schedule it to your list.
- Landing pages: build a page on your own address at postfjord.page, with a signup form, and publish it after the links are checked.
- DMs: set up a DM automation on Instagram or Facebook, always paused until you say yes, and draft replies in your Inbox.
OpenAI Dots
Dots are OpenAI's always-on agents, launched on September 29, 2026. A Dot works on a goal in the background around the clock, on its own cloud computer, and connects to apps through the plugins in OpenAI's ecosystem. They are open to ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets.
Postfjord works as a plugin in ChatGPT today. Dots use the same plugins, so we expect Postfjord to carry over, and we will mark it tested here as soon as it is. Until then, connect Postfjord to ChatGPT and give it the jobs you plan to hand a Dot. Read more about Dots.
Meta Muse
Muse is Meta's personal agent. It connects to Postfjord through the API with a key you make in the app, and it can plan, draft and schedule your posts. Connect Meta Muse in five steps.
Grok Bot
Grok Bot is xAI's agent that keeps working on its own cloud computer, launched on August 11, 2026. It can use custom MCP servers that are reachable on the internet, and Postfjord's is: app.postfjord.com/api/mcp, with a key from Settings. We have not tested Grok Bot with Postfjord yet.
Hermes Agent
Hermes Agent is an open source agent from Nous Research that learns skills as it works and runs on your own machine or server. It supports MCP, so you add Postfjord to its MCP servers with the address app.postfjord.com/api/mcp and a key from Settings. We have not tested Hermes with Postfjord yet.
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
The chat apps you already use connect today. In ChatGPT or Claude you add Postfjord as a connector, sign in and press Allow. Gemini works through Gemini CLI, and Codex, Cursor and VS Code connect with a key. The help page has every setup ready to copy.
Your own agent
Building your own agent? Most agent frameworks can use MCP servers, and Postfjord's is open to any of them with a key. If your agent speaks plain HTTP instead, the REST API does the same things. Each key belongs to one workspace, so an agency can give each client's agent its own key.
You decide what it may do
Every connection has one level. Read only lets the agent look and change nothing. Drafts only lets it write drafts, and nothing goes out. Schedule and publish lets it put things out when it is asked to. A new DM automation always starts paused, and you can remove a connection under Settings at any time.

Which AI agents work with Postfjord?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor and Meta Muse work today. OpenAI Dots, Grok Bot and Hermes Agent use MCP, which Postfjord supports, and we will mark each one tested here when it is. Any agent that can use an MCP server or call a REST API can connect.
Can an AI agent post for me without asking?
Only if you give it a key or a sign-in with the Schedule and publish level. With Read only or Drafts only, nothing goes out. DM automations always start paused.
Which plans include agents?
Connecting agents through MCP and the API is included in the Solo, Studio and Agency plans.
Do I need to code?
No. For ChatGPT and Claude you sign in and press Allow. For the other agents you paste the address and a key, and the help page shows where.
