Mentions shows you what people write about you in public. Type your brand name once. Postfjord looks for it every few minutes and puts each post it finds in one list, in the Inbox, next to your DMs.
Where it looks
- Bluesky: public posts, every 10 minutes.
- Hacker News: stories and comments, every 30 minutes.
- News: articles from news sites around the world, found by their headline, every hour.
- X: public posts from the last 7 days, with the X add-on.
- Instagram: posts and comments that tag your connected account.
- App Store and Google Play: reviews of your own apps.
On Free it looks half as often. Postfjord only reads what each service lets apps read through its official API. TikTok and LinkedIn give apps no way to search posts, so they are not in the list.
A score on every post
A coffee roaster in Seattle watches its name, Morning Ritual. Most posts with those words are about someone's morning, not the beans. Postfjord's AI reads each post next to your brand profile and gives it a relevance score from 0 to 100, a mood, what the person wants (to buy, a question, a complaint, praise, a comparison) and one line that sums it up.
The list shows 60 and up by default. Press Not relevant on a miss, and the next scores take it into account. Scores run on their own meter and never use the AI drafts in your plan.
Answer from Postfjord
Press Reply and Claude writes a draft in your brand voice. Change it, then send it:
- On Instagram and Google Play, press Send answer. It goes out from your account.
- On Bluesky, reply as your connected Bluesky account.
- On Hacker News, X and the App Store, copy the text and open the post. Postfjord does not post there for you.
Mark a mention Saved for later or Done when it is handled. The whole team sees the same list.
Keywords that find the right posts
Add up to 3 other ways to write your name, words a post must also contain, and words that rule it out, like jobs or hiring. Pick languages if you only want some. When you add a keyword, Postfjord looks back 30 days (7 on Free) and shows what it finds within about a minute.
Alerts
An email right away when someone wants to buy or a post scores 80 or more, at most 6 an hour, on paid plans. A daily email at 8:00 in your time zone with the day's best mentions, on every plan. Each person can turn them off.
How many keywords
Free has 1 keyword, Solo 3, Studio 10 and Agency 25. The Keyword pack adds 10 to one workspace for $9 a month, on any paid plan. Your own Instagram mentions and app reviews are not keywords and keep coming on every plan.
FAQ
Does Postfjord copy pages from websites?
No. It reads only what each service lets apps read through its official API, and it keeps only posts that contain one of your keywords.
Can someone ask to have their post removed?
Yes. An email to hello [at] postfjord.com is enough. We remove their posts from every workspace and stop saving new ones. The privacy policy has the details.
Does Mentions use my AI drafts?
No. Scores run on their own meter. Only a reply draft counts as an AI draft.
