Brand voice

Teach Claude how you write, and get your logo, colours and font from your website under Brand kit, so every draft and design looks and sounds like you.

The brand voice is what makes AI drafts sound like your brand instead of a generic assistant.

Get your look from your website

Your look lives in its own tab: Settings, Brand kit. Press Read my website. Postfjord opens your home page the way a visitor would and measures what it shows: the background, card and text colours by how much of the page they cover, the colour, text and shape of your buttons, small brand colours it repeats (dots, badges, icons), your heading and body fonts and the logo in your header. A white logo gets a colour behind it so it shows in emails. Next to it you see a screenshot of what was measured and a small email in that look. Change any colour, untick the logo if it picked the wrong one, and press Looks right. The logo is saved to your media library and the look is used in posts, designs and emails.

Under More brand colours you see the extra colours the scan found. Press Add colour to add your own, up to eight, or remove one you do not use. They show up as quick picks in the email and image editors, together with your background, accent and text colours.

It does not use AI and costs nothing. When your font is not one Postfjord can use, it picks the closest match (serif or sans serif) and says so. If no logo is found, or you untick it, the logo you already have stays, with its colour behind it. With no logo yet, pick one from your media library under Brand kit.

Fill it from your website

Paste your website address and press Fill from website. Postfjord reads the home page and up to two "about"-style pages, adds your best published posts when a channel is connected, and proposes a description, tone, audience and a post style guide. Edit anything before you save.

Fill it from your posts

No website? Press Fill from your posts. With a connected Instagram or Facebook account, Postfjord reads up to 100 recent posts per account, keeps the 20 with the most likes and comments, and drafts the profile from how you actually write: sentence length, emoji, hashtags, calls to action. Two of your real posts become the example posts.

The language your posts are written in

Language of posts decides what Postfjord writes in: posts, emails, replies and week plans. Until somebody picks one it says Not set yet, and every draft comes out in the language of the brief you wrote.

You never have to hunt for it. Fill the profile from your website and Postfjord reads which language the site is written in and fills it in, and it says so under the button. Or leave it, and the first time you open Bo it tells you in one line which language it writes your posts in. Say "write in German" and Bo changes it there and then, and shows a card saying what it set. Change it back the same way, or in this dropdown.

It is the language of the content only. Bo answers you in whatever language you write to it in, so you can chat in Swedish while your posts go out in English.

Content pillars

List the recurring themes you post about, one per line, with a weekday if you have a rhythm. The weekly plan uses them.

Templates

Start from a template for a fitness brand, a yoga studio or a blank profile.

How every draft is written

Before your brand voice is applied, every text Postfjord writes follows one house standard: no long dashes, none of the words and phrasings that give a machine away, a number or a name instead of an adjective, at most two emoji, and sentences of different lengths. If a draft comes back with one of those words in it anyway, Postfjord rewrites that sentence before you see it.

Your brand voice sits on top. Add rules of your own ("never name a price", "always mention the teacher") and every draft follows them. The house rules stay on for everyone: a text that reads as written by a machine costs you more than the minute it saved.

Agents that write through the API, Claude or Meta Muse for example, are handed the same standard with your brand profile, so their posts sound like the ones Postfjord writes.

FAQ

Can I turn off the house writing rules?

No, and no plan removes them. You can add your own rules in the brand voice, and those are followed on top of the house ones.

Is my brand voice shared between workspaces?

No. Each workspace has its own, so two brands never blend.

Which language does Claude write in?

The one under Language of posts in the brand voice. When nothing is set there, each draft comes out in the language you wrote the brief in, and Postfjord says which language it used. Bo is separate: it answers you in the language you write to it in.

Does filling from the website or my posts cost AI budget?

Yes, a few cents, like a draft.

Which posts does Postfjord read?

The most recent 100 on each connected Instagram and Facebook account, ranked by likes and comments. Posts without a caption are skipped.

Why did the scan pick the wrong colour?

It measures what your home page shows, so a colour used only on other pages, or only in photos, is not found. When the page cannot be opened (it blocks visitors it does not know, or takes too long) it reads the page's code instead and says so; check the colours then. Change any colour with the colour picker before you press Looks right, or any time later under Brand kit.
