Send posts to a client for review

Send a link your client opens without an account. They see each post as it will go out, and approve it or say what should change.

Plan posts for someone else, an agency client or the owner of the studio you post for, and let them approve before anything goes out. They open a link, with no account and no password.

Send a review

  1. Open Calendar and go to the week or month with the posts.
  2. Press Send for review. The drafts and scheduled posts in view are ticked, and drafts without a date are listed below them. Tick or untick until the list is right, at most 30.
  3. Write who it is for, for example "Anna at Studio North". Add their email address if Postfjord should send the link, and a note if you like. A workspace can email 20 review links a day; Postfjord uses the address only for that email and does not keep it.
  4. Press Send the link or Make the link. Copy the link to send it yourself, in a chat or an email.

The link works for 30 days. Only people who have it can see the posts, so send it to your client only.

What your client sees

Your workspace's name and logo from the brand kit, then each post: the date and time, the channels, the pictures and the text, with the text for a channel shown when it differs. Under each post they press Approve, or write what should change and press Ask for changes. They can change an answer while the link works.

Where the answer shows

  • The post in Calendar gets a small mark: Review, OK or Changes.
  • The post itself says who answered and what they wrote.
  • Whoever sent the review gets an email when the client answers.

An answer changes nothing on the post. An approved post goes out as planned. When the client asks for changes, a draft waits for you, and a scheduled post still goes out at its time unless you change it or take it off the schedule; the email says when. If you change a post after the client approved it, the post says so: send it for review again so they see the new version. Then the post shows the newest review's answer.

FAQ

Does my client need a Postfjord account?

No. The link is all they need, on a phone or a computer.

Can a post go out before the client answers?

Yes. A scheduled post goes out at its time whatever the answer. If the client should approve first, keep it as a draft and schedule it once it is approved.

Can I stop a link?

A link stops working after 30 days. Send a new review for the next round.
