What it does
Put a Gumroad product link in an automation, an email or a landing page. When someone buys, Postfjord counts the sale for what sent them. Automations, email reports and landing pages show Sales with the amount, and the dashboard shows the month's total. The buyer gets the tag Customer when they are a contact, and email automations that start on a purchase start for them. A refund takes its amount off again.
Connect in three steps
- In Gumroad, open Settings, Advanced, Applications and make an application called Postfjord.
- Press Generate access token and copy the token.
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps, Gumroad, paste the token and press Connect.
What moves where
- From Gumroad to Postfjord: each sale and refund, with the amount and the code that says what sent the buyer. Postfjord checks every sale with Gumroad before it counts it.
- From Postfjord to Gumroad: a request for sale and refund updates, which Postfjord removes when you disconnect.
- Postfjord keeps the amount and what sent the buyer, never their name or email address.
FAQ
Can Postfjord change my products or refund a sale?
No. Postfjord only signs up for your sale updates and reads the sales it hears about.
Why are my sales in US dollars?
Gumroad reports every sale in US dollars, whatever currency the product is priced in, so Postfjord shows them that way.
