What it does
Connect a Tally form and every answer becomes a contact in Postfjord. You pick which question is the email, the name and the phone, a tag for everyone who answers, and the question where people say yes to your emails. Those who say yes get the confirmation email. Once they press the button in it, an email automation on your form or your tag starts for them.
Turn on Start a DM automation and someone who wrote to you on Instagram or Facebook in the last 24 hours, with the same email address, gets a message from your DM automation.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps, Tally, type a name for the form and press Add form. Postfjord shows an address and a signing secret.
- In Tally, open the form, go to Integrations and press Connect next to Webhooks. Paste the address as the Endpoint URL and the secret as the Signing secret, and press Connect.
- Send one test answer. Its questions show up in Postfjord. Pick which question is which, a tag if you want one, and press Save.
What moves where
- From Tally to Postfjord: each new answer, signed with the secret only your form and Postfjord know. An answer without the right signature is refused.
- From Postfjord to Tally: nothing. Postfjord only listens.
- Postfjord keeps the answers you picked on the contact and deletes the rest. Files, signatures and payments in a form are never read.
FAQ
Do people who fill in my form get my emails?
Only when they said yes to your emails on the form and then pressed the button in the confirmation email. Filling in a form alone never signs anyone up.
How many forms and answers can I connect?
Free connects 2 forms and takes 50 answers a day. Every paid plan connects 20 forms and takes 1,000 answers a day.
What if the secret gets out?
Press Make a new address and secret and paste the new ones into Tally. The old ones stop working at once.
