What it does
Connect a Typeform and every answer becomes a contact in Postfjord. You pick which question is the email, the name and the phone, a tag for everyone who answers, and the question where people say yes to your emails. Those who say yes get the confirmation email. Once they press the button in it, an email automation on your form or your tag starts for them.
You can paste the webhook into Typeform yourself, or give Postfjord a personal token and it adds the webhook for you.
Connect in three steps
- In Typeform, open your account settings, then Personal tokens, and press Generate a new token. Give it the scopes Forms: Read, Webhooks: Read and Webhooks: Write, and copy it.
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps, Typeform and pick Let Postfjord add it with a personal token. Paste the token and the link to the form, and press Connect.
- Postfjord adds its webhook and reads the questions right away. Pick which question is which, a tag if you want one, and press Save.
What moves where
- From Typeform to Postfjord: each new answer, signed with a secret only your form and Postfjord know. An answer without the right signature is refused.
- From Postfjord to Typeform: with a token, only the webhook on that form, which Postfjord removes again when you remove the form.
- The token is stored encrypted and never shown again. Postfjord keeps the answers you picked and deletes the rest. Files, signatures and payments are never read.
FAQ
Can I connect without a token?
Yes. Keep Paste the webhook in Typeform yourself, press Add form, and paste the address and signing secret into Connect, Webhooks in Typeform.
Does it work with Typeform's EU data center?
Yes. Accounts there connect the same way.
What happens when I remove a form?
New answers stop coming in, and with a token Postfjord removes its webhook from the form. The contacts it added stay.
