What it does
Postfjord reads your Brevo lists with a key you make in Brevo and brings the people in, the same as a file import but without the file. Who said yes, who left and when they signed up comes straight from Brevo, and those columns are locked, so nobody who left becomes a subscriber by mistake.
Connect in three steps
- In Brevo, open Settings, SMTP & API, API keys and press Generate a new API key. Let it end after 7 days and copy it.
- In Postfjord, open Contacts, Import contacts, pick Brevo and paste the key.
- Press Show my lists, pick a list or everyone, and press Get these contacts. Then check the columns and import.
What moves where
- From Brevo to Postfjord: the contacts on the lists you pick, with their names, fields and whether they said yes.
- From Postfjord to Brevo: nothing. Postfjord only reads.
- Postfjord keeps the key encrypted for an hour at most and deletes it as soon as your contacts are in.
FAQ
Why does Brevo say the call came from a new IP address?
Brevo blocks keys used from addresses it does not know. Open Security, Authorized IPs in Brevo, turn off blocking for API keys while you import, and turn it back on afterwards.
Can the key do more than read?
Brevo has no key that can only read. Postfjord only reads your contacts with it. Delete the key in Brevo when the import is done.
