What it does
Zapier links Postfjord to the other apps you use, like Typeform, Google Sheets, Slack or your CRM. Something that happens in Postfjord can start a Zap: a new contact, a form signup, a sale, a published post or a new conversation. A Zap can then add a contact, add a tag, start an email automation or make a draft post in Postfjord.
Posts from Zapier are always drafts. Nothing goes out until you schedule it in Postfjord.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps and press the Zapier card. Keep Schedule and publish picked, press Make my key and then Copy key.
- In Zapier, make a Zap and search for Postfjord when you pick a trigger or an action.
- Press Sign in and paste your key. Zapier shows your workspace's name when the key works.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Zapier: new contacts with an email address, form signups that were confirmed, sales from your connected Stripe account, posts that went out with the link on each channel, and the first words of a new DM or comment.
- From Zapier to Postfjord: draft posts with text, a link, channels and a picture, contacts by email address with their names and your own fields, tags, and a start in one of your email automations.
- For a new conversation, Zapier gets the person's display name and the first words, never an email address. People who unsubscribed are left out of New Contact.
FAQ
Does Zapier cost extra in Postfjord?
No. Zapier is included in every Postfjord plan with keys, from Solo up. Zapier has its own plans, including a free one.
Can a Zap sign people up for my emails?
No. A new contact from Zapier gets your emails only after they click the link in the confirmation email. Postfjord sends that email when you turn on Send confirmation email in the Zap.
How do I stop every Zap at once?
Revoke the key under Settings, Apps, Your keys. To stop one Zap, turn it off in Zapier.
