What it does
Write the post in Postfjord, pick your store's blog with your other channels, and Postfjord publishes it at the time you set. The same idea can go out as a post on Instagram and LinkedIn and as a full blog post in your store, from one calendar.
A blog post has a title, a body with paragraphs, headings and lists, an excerpt, tags and a cover picture. Send it as a published post, or as a draft that you finish in Shopify.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, connect your store under Settings, Apps, Shopify.
- Open Channels and press Connect on the Shopify blog card.
- Pick the blog and press Add blog.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Shopify: the blog posts you schedule, with their cover picture and tags.
- From Shopify to Postfjord: the names of your store's blogs.
- Postfjord changes no product, order or customer. It writes only the blog posts you send.
FAQ
Do I need to connect my store again?
Only to give Postfjord permission to write blog posts, if your store was connected before it could. Shopify asks you once, in your Shopify admin under Apps.
Can I publish to more than one blog?
Yes. Each blog in your store is its own channel, and you pick where each post goes.
