Academy / Design posts that stop the scroll

Lesson 3 of 5 · 4 min

Your brand on every page

Set your colors, fonts and logo once, then put them on any template in one click, and try new looks that stay yours.

When every post uses the same few colors and fonts, people know it is you before they read a word. You do not need a designer for that, only a brand kit and two buttons.

Set it up once

  1. Open Settings, then Brand kit.
  2. Add your logo, your main colors and the two fonts you use: one for headlines and one for the rest.
  3. If you are not sure of your colors, pick them from your logo or your shop sign. Two or three is enough.

Now For you in Design shows the templates in your colors and fonts already.

Apply brand

Found a template you like under All templates? It opens in its own colors. Press Apply brand at the top of the editor and it takes your colors and fonts. Press it again for another mix of the same colors.

Text that sits right on a photo keeps its own color, so it stays easy to read.

Shuffle

Shuffle tries a new look with your colors and fonts: other colors on the page, the other font pair, and on a template another layout. Press it as often as you like, and Undo takes you back one look at a time.

It is a quick way to make a week of posts that look like one family without all looking the same.

Templates place no logo, so you decide where it goes. Open Logo in the left bar and click it to add it. Keep it small and in a corner: the message is the hero, the logo signs it.

Before the next lesson

Press Apply brand on the post from lesson one, then press Shuffle three times and keep the look you like best.
