What it does
Write the post in Postfjord, pick Tumblr with your other channels, and Postfjord posts it to your main blog at the time you set. The same post can go out on Instagram, Bluesky and Tumblr from one calendar.
A post holds text, up to ten pictures or one video, and a link shown as a card. The hashtags in your text become Tumblr tags.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Channels and press Connect on the Tumblr card.
- Sign in on Tumblr and allow Postfjord.
- Tumblr sends you back, and your main blog is a channel.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Tumblr: the posts you schedule, with their pictures, video, link and tags.
- From Tumblr to Postfjord: your blog's name and address, its followers, and the notes on your newest posts.
- Postfjord never sees your Tumblr password and only makes the posts you schedule.
FAQ
How many posts can I send a day?
Tumblr lets one account publish 250 posts a day. A post past the limit waits and goes out the next day.
How do I take the access back?
Press Disconnect in Postfjord, and remove Postfjord under Apps in your Tumblr settings.
