Windsurf and Postfjord

What it does

Windsurf has a chat panel called Cascade. Connect it to Postfjord and ask Cascade to check your calendar, plan a week of posts or write drafts in your brand voice. It connects with a key, and you decide what the key may do.

It is included from the Solo plan, and only the workspace owner can make keys.

Connect in three steps

1. In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps and press the Windsurf card. Make a key and copy it.
2. In the Cascade panel, press ..., then Open MCP config file. Add Postfjord with the address https://mcp.postfjord.com/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your key, and save.
3. In the MCPs part of the Cascade panel, turn Postfjord on and press the refresh button.

What moves where

• From Postfjord to Windsurf: what the key's level allows it to read, like your calendar, brand profile, post results and Inbox.
• From Windsurf to Postfjord: the drafts it writes, and with the top level the posts it schedules.
• Revoke the key under Your keys and Windsurf stops working in Postfjord at once.

FAQ

How many tools does Postfjord add?

More than 60. Cascade uses at most 100 tools at a time across all your servers, so Postfjord fits on its own. With other servers too, use https://mcp.postfjord.com/mcp?tools=core, a shorter list of 25 tools.
