What it does
Cursor's chat can work in Postfjord: look at your calendar, plan the week and write drafts in your brand voice, without leaving your code editor.
It is included from the Solo plan, and only the workspace owner can connect it.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps, Cursor and choose what Cursor may do.
- Press Make my key and copy the text Postfjord shows. Your key is already in it.
- Paste it in
~/.cursor/mcp.json, restart Cursor and ask its chat: "What is in my Postfjord calendar?"
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Cursor: what the key's level allows it to read, like your calendar, brand profile and post results.
- From Cursor to Postfjord: the drafts it writes, and with the top level the posts it schedules.
- Revoke the key under Your keys and Cursor stops working in Postfjord at once.
FAQ
My mcp.json already has other servers. Where does Postfjord go?
Put the Postfjord part next to the others, inside mcpServers.
Can Cursor publish without asking me?
Only with a key set to Schedule and publish. With Drafts only, nothing goes out until you schedule it.
