What it does
Ask ChatGPT the way you would ask a person on your team: "Which posts did best last month? Plan three more like them for next week." ChatGPT reads your calendar, your brand voice and your numbers in Postfjord and writes the posts as drafts. You choose what it may do: read only, write drafts, or schedule and publish. With drafts, nothing goes out until you schedule it.
It is included from the Solo plan, and only the workspace owner can connect it.
Connect in three steps
- In ChatGPT's settings, turn on developer mode and create a new connector named Postfjord, with
https://app.postfjord.com/api/mcpas the address and OAuth as the sign-in. - Sign in to Postfjord when ChatGPT asks, pick the workspace and what ChatGPT may do, and press Allow.
- Ask ChatGPT: "What is in my Postfjord calendar next week?"
On a ChatGPT plan without developer mode, press Set up on the ChatGPT card under Settings, Apps instead. It walks you through a GPT of your own with a key.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to ChatGPT: what the level allows it to read, like your calendar, brand profile, media and post results.
- From ChatGPT to Postfjord: the drafts it writes, and with the top level the posts it schedules.
- The connection gets its own key, listed under Settings, Apps, Your keys. Remove it there and ChatGPT is disconnected at once.
FAQ
Can ChatGPT publish without asking me?
Only if you give it the level Schedule and publish. With Drafts only, everything it writes waits in your calendar until you schedule it.
Do I need to connect ChatGPT to use AI in Postfjord?
No. Postfjord's own AI is included in every plan. Connecting ChatGPT lets you work in Postfjord from a chat you already use.
