Connect other apps

Settings → Apps has three groups, named by what you want to do. Your own AI key is next door, under Settings → AI.

Bring your contacts in

• Mailchimp: connect with your Mailchimp API key, then move your list over with each person's consent. You can also keep a Mailchimp list updated, if you still send from there. The steps are under Mailchimp and Import from Mailchimp.
• CSV file: for Kit, MailerLite, Shopify and any other tool that can save your list as a CSV file. The card opens the same import as Import contacts on Contacts. The steps for each tool are in Import contacts from a file.
• Brevo and Klaviyo: bring your list straight in with a key from Brevo or Klaviyo, no file needed. The card opens Import contacts with that tool picked. How to make the key is in Straight from Brevo or Klaviyo.

Only the workspace owner connects Mailchimp and moves a list. Editors can start a Mailchimp sync. For a file, Brevo or Klaviyo, an owner or an editor can start the import, and only the owner finishes it.

Count your bookings

Connect Calendly, Acuity Scheduling or any other booking system, and Postfjord counts the bookings each automation brings in. Everyone who books gets the tag Booked. The steps are in Count your bookings.

Work in Postfjord from another app

Each app gets its own key. Press Set up on its card and three numbered steps open:

1. Choose what the app may do. Drafts only is picked for you: the app writes drafts, and nothing goes out until you schedule it. Read only and Schedule and publish are there too, except for Muse, which starts with drafts.
2. Copy your key. The key gets a name for you, like "Meta Muse" or "Claude app on Mac". Change it if you like, then press Make my key. The key is shown once. Treat it like a password.
3. Paste it in the app. The steps for that app, with the text to paste and a Copy button. The text already holds your key.

Press Done when the app works. The key is then hidden for good and shows under Your keys by its name. Only the workspace owner can set up apps, and it is included from the Solo plan.

Meta Muse

Muse is Meta's AI agent. In step 3 you send Muse a message that points it at Postfjord's connector brief, and put the key in Muse's Secure Credentials Store under the name POSTFJORD_API_KEY, never in the chat. More on postfjord.com/muse.

Claude app

Pick Claude Desktop or Claude Code in step 3. Claude Desktop needs Node.js and a few lines in its settings file. Claude Code takes one line in a terminal. The snippets are under Claude Desktop and Claude Code.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT can connect with a sign-in and no key, as a connector: see Claude.ai and ChatGPT. On a plan without developer mode, use a custom GPT of your own instead. It reads Postfjord's public API document and sends your key with each request.

1. Open chatgpt.com/gpts/editor and choose Configure.
2. Give the GPT a name, for example Postfjord.
3. At the bottom, press Create new action, then Import from URL, and paste https://postfjord.com/openapi.json.
4. Under Authentication, choose API Key and then Auth Type Bearer. Paste your key and save.
5. Press Create and choose Only me. Anyone you share the GPT with would work in Postfjord with your key.
6. Try it: "What is in my Postfjord calendar next week?"

The connector is the simpler choice when your plan has it: it needs no key, and you remove it under Your keys like any other.

Codex

Codex is OpenAI's coding agent. Step 3 gives you a few lines for ~/.codex/config.toml. See Codex.

Cursor

Step 3 gives you a few lines for ~/.cursor/mcp.json. See Cursor.

Your keys

Every key in the workspace, with its name, what it may do, the day it was made and when an app last used it. Revoke stops a key at once: the app that used it gets an error from then on. A revoked key stays in the list, greyed out, so you can see what it was.

Make a key by hand

Under Advanced: make a key by hand you choose any name and any level yourself. Use it for your own code, or an app without a card, like VS Code. The key comes with the Claude Code line, and the key on its own is folded away underneath.
