What it does
Write the post once, pick Bluesky with your other channels, and Postfjord posts it at the time you set.
A post holds up to 300 characters. Links, @mentions and #hashtags turn into links. Add up to four images, each with its alt text, or one MP4 video up to 10 minutes and 300 MB. A post with a link and no images gets a link card with the page's title and picture.
Analytics shows your followers, and the likes, replies, reposts and quotes on your recent posts. Postfjord reads them every night.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Channels and press Connect on the Bluesky card.
- Type your handle, like name.bsky.social, or your own domain if you use one.
- Press Continue to Bluesky, sign in and allow Postfjord.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Bluesky: the posts you schedule, with their links, images or video.
- From Bluesky to Postfjord: your handle and account id, and every night the follower count and the likes, replies, reposts and quotes on your recent posts, from your public profile.
- Postfjord does not read your password, your messages or your timeline.
FAQ
Do I need an app password?
No. You sign in on Bluesky's own page, and Bluesky lets Postfjord post for you. Press Disconnect in Postfjord to stop it.
What if my post is longer than 300 characters?
Postfjord stops it in the composer. It does not split the text into a thread.
Why did my video not post?
Bluesky lets an account upload videos only after its email address is confirmed, and it limits how many videos an account can upload a day. The failed post shows what Bluesky answered.
