What it does
Postfjord posts a short note in the Discord channel you pick when something needs a person: a DM nobody has taken, a comment no automation answered, a post that did not go out, a new signup, a sale or booking, or a channel that needs a Reconnect. Each note links to the right place in Postfjord. Notes never ping anyone.
Connect in three steps
- In Discord, open the channel's settings and go to Integrations, Webhooks.
- Press New Webhook, name it Postfjord and press Copy Webhook URL.
- In Postfjord, open Settings, Apps, Discord, paste the address and press Save.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Discord: one short note per event, with your workspace's name and a link into Postfjord.
- From Discord to Postfjord: nothing. Postfjord cannot read your server.
- Names and email addresses stay out of the notes until you turn them on. The words of a DM or a comment are never sent.
FAQ
Do I need to be an admin in the Discord server?
You need permission to manage webhooks in that channel. An admin can make the webhook and send you the address.
How many notes can there be?
Up to 30 an hour and 200 a day per workspace, 10 and 40 on the Free plan. When there are more, one note says so and the rest wait in Postfjord.
