Lesson 3 of 5 · 5 min

Write and schedule your first post

From a one line brief, or thirty seconds of talking, to a post that publishes itself tomorrow morning.

The fastest way to learn the composer is to write one real post. The button at the end opens it with a brief already filled in: a welcome post for new followers. Every account can use one.

Start from a brief

Press New post and pick your channels. Below the media is a box called Brief for the AI. Write what the post is about the way you would say it to a friend, then press Generate draft. Claude writes it in your brand voice, one version per channel you selected.

Rather talk than type? Press Dictate, talk for up to three minutes, then Stop and transcribe. What you said lands in the brief, without the "um" and "like", and you can fix a name before you generate.

Read it once, change one thing

A draft is a starting point, never the final word. Read it out loud and change whatever you would never say. Then press Check post. In a few seconds you get four notes:

Green is fine, yellow is worth a look, red needs a change. The check never stops you from publishing.

Add a picture and a time

Instagram needs an image or a video, so add one from the media library or upload it. Several images become a carousel. A single video becomes a Reel.

Pick a time. Not sure which? Pick the hour you yourself scroll, then let Analytics show you after a few weeks when your followers react. Press Schedule. The post shows up in the calendar and publishes itself.

How you know it worked

The post sits in the calendar at the time you chose. After it goes out, Posts shows the result per channel, with a link to the live post.
