Plan a month in an hour
Pick your content pillars, set a weekly rhythm you can keep, write a batch in one sitting, turn one idea into several posts and put the month in the calendar.
5 lessons · about 25 min · Beginner · Free
The hard part of posting is deciding what to post, every day, in the gap between two customers. This course moves that decision to one hour a month.
Five lessons. The first two you do once. The last three are the hour itself, and you repeat them every month. It helps to know your customer and your message first; Find your customer and your message covers both. You need a Postfjord account with at least one channel connected to schedule the posts.
When you finish: four to five content pillars, a weekly rhythm, and the next four weeks of posts drafted or scheduled in the calendar.
Lessons
- 01Pick your content pillarsFour or five themes you post about again and again, examples for different businesses, and how to check the mix is not all selling.
- 02A weekly rhythm you can keepHow many posts a week, which days, and how to tie each slot to a pillar so the month plans itself.
- 03Write a batch in one sittingThe hour itself, minute by minute: collect ideas, write the drafts, gather the pictures, and why doing it all at once is faster.
- 04One idea, several postsTurn one good idea into a carousel, a short video, a quick text post and a longer one, and let channel variants do the rewriting.
- 05Put the month in the calendarPlace the batch on your rhythm, use Plan next week to fill the gaps, move posts when plans change, and set a reminder for next month's hour.
