The Academy at postfjord.com/academy has free courses on Postfjord and on getting customers from social media. Every lesson is open to read. To mark lessons done, answer the questions, try the practice run and get diplomas, you sign in with your email.
Sign in with a code
There is no password. It takes two steps:
- On a lesson, or at postfjord.com/academy/signin, type your email address and press Email me a code.
- We email you a code with 6 digits. Type it on the same page. When the sixth digit is in, you are signed in and back where you were.
The code works for 10 minutes and only once. After 5 wrong tries it stops working, and you press Send a new code. A new code replaces the one before. Typed the wrong address? Press Use another email. Nobody from Postfjord will ever ask you for the code, so do not give it to anyone.
It is the same account as the Postfjord app. If you already use Postfjord, sign in with the address you use there and the Academy shows up under Account in the app. You need no workspace and no early access: people on the waitlist can take every course now.
Progress you saved in this browser before accounts existed moves over to your account the first time you sign in.
Progress
Press Mark this lesson done at the end of a lesson and answer its questions. Your answers are saved as you pick them. If one is wrong, press Try the questions again.
Some lessons tick themselves off when Postfjord sees you did the thing they teach, in a workspace where you are an owner or editor:
- Connect your accounts: a channel is connected.
- Write and schedule your first post: a post is scheduled or has gone out.
- Teach Postfjord your voice: the brand voice has a description or a voice of your own.
- Build the automation: you saved a comment to DM automation.
The app checks when you open a workspace, and again when you come back to it. A lesson ticked this way counts as done. Its questions still need an answer on postfjord.com.
Continue where you left off at the top of the Academy page and in My Academy takes you to the next lesson that is not done yet, with the minutes left in that course.
Diplomas
A course gives a diploma when every lesson is done and every question is answered right. Open My Academy, type the name that should stand on it and press Get my diploma. The name cannot be changed afterwards, so check it first. You get one diploma per course; asking again gives you the same one.
Each diploma has its own page at postfjord.com/academy/diploma with an ID, the name, the course and the date. Anyone with the link can see it, which is how an employer or a client checks it. It shows no email address. Press Print or save as PDF for a paper copy.
The certificate
Postfjord Certified Marketer sits on top of the diplomas. It needs a diploma in Get started with Postfjord, Turn comments into customers and Write posts people stop for, and a final exam of ten questions from those lessons. Postfjord checks your answers and tells you whether you passed. After a fail it says what you need, not your score or which questions were wrong. The exam opens once you have the three diplomas. Eight right is a pass. After a fail you can take it again after a pause: two minutes, then 15 minutes, then an hour, then a day. The whole path takes about 77 minutes. Open the certificate page to see where you stand and take the exam.
Add it to LinkedIn
On your diploma or certificate, press Add to LinkedIn. LinkedIn opens its form for a new licence or certification with the name, Postfjord as the organisation, the month and year, the ID and the link filled in. Check it and save. The button shows on your own diplomas in My Academy, on the diploma page when you are signed in, and under Account → Academy in the app.
In the app
Under Account the Academy card shows where to continue, how far you are in each course, your diplomas with their dates, and the certificate. The links open postfjord.com, where you take the lessons and get the diplomas.
FAQ
Do I need an account to read the lessons?
No. Every lesson, film and answer is open to read. The account is for saving progress and getting diplomas.
Can I open the Postfjord app with the Academy code?
No. The code signs you in on postfjord.com only. The app signs in with Google or a password. If you only ever used the Academy, press Forgot password? on the app's sign-in page to set a password for the same account. Postfjord is in early access, so the app may ask you to request access first.
The code does not work. What now?
Check that you typed the newest code: asking for a new one turns off the one before. The page tells you how many tries are left. If the code ran out or you used up the 5 tries, press Send a new code.
I did not get the email. What now?
Look in spam and promotions. After 30 seconds you can press Send a new code, up to ten codes a day for one address. A network, such as an office or a home, has a daily limit too, and the page tells you when it is reached. If it still does not come, write to hello [at] postfjord.com.
It says my account is not confirmed. What do I do?
An Academy code signs in to the account with your address, so Postfjord sends none to an address whose Postfjord account is not confirmed yet: anyone can register an address that is not theirs. Press Forgot password? on the app's sign-in page and open the link we email you. It confirms the address, sets a password of your own and removes any other way in that was added before. Then ask for an Academy code again. If you made the account yourself, Confirm my email in the email from sign-up works too, while you are signed in to the app. The same check runs when you type the code, in case the account was made after the code was sent.
Can I change the name on my diploma?
Not yourself. Write to hello [at] postfjord.com from the address you signed in with.
What happens to my diplomas if I delete my account?
They are deleted with your progress, and their pages stop verifying them. If you use the Postfjord app, delete the account there, under Account. If you only use the Academy, press Delete my account in My Academy.
