What it does
Postfjord posts pins to your Pinterest account at the time you pick. Every pin goes to a board. Pick a Default board under the account on Channels, or pick another board for one pin when you write it.
A pin holds one image, one video, or 2 to 5 images that people swipe through. Images can be JPEG or PNG up to 20 MB. A video can be MP4, MOV or M4V, from 4 seconds to 15 minutes and up to 2 GB. The text becomes the pin's description, up to 800 characters, and the Pin title holds up to 100. The post's link becomes the pin's link, so a tap on the pin opens your page.
No board yet? Press New board and Postfjord makes one on Pinterest for you.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Channels and press Connect on the Pinterest card.
- Sign in with Pinterest and allow Postfjord.
- Postfjord adds the account to the workspace, together with its boards.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Pinterest: the pins you schedule, with their images or video, description, title, link and alt text, and the boards you make with New board.
- From Pinterest to Postfjord: your username, your profile picture link, and the names and ids of your boards.
- Postfjord does not read your secret boards, your analytics or your ads, and it never changes or deletes a board.
FAQ
I made a new board on Pinterest. Why is it not in the list?
Press Refresh boards under the account on Channels. Postfjord then reads your boards again.
What happens if I delete a board that a pin is scheduled to?
The pin stops and says so. Pick another board in the post and press Retry.
Do I have to sign in to Pinterest again every month?
No. Pinterest's access lasts 30 days, and Postfjord renews it by itself as long as the account stays connected.
