What it does
Postfjord uploads a video to your YouTube channel at the time you set. The title field sets the video's title, the text becomes its description, and you choose Public, Unlisted or Private. A long video goes up in parts, and if something stops it, Retry continues where it was.
Connect in three steps
- In Postfjord, open Channels and press Connect on the YouTube card.
- Sign in with Google and pick the channel, if your account has more than one.
- Allow Postfjord to upload videos to your channel.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to YouTube: the videos you schedule, with their title, description and privacy.
- From YouTube to Postfjord: your Google account id and name, the channel's id and name, and the link and status of each video Postfjord uploads.
- Postfjord asks for one permission, to upload videos. It cannot read your other videos, comments, subscribers or statistics.
FAQ
How long can a video be?
Up to 12 hours. A channel that is not verified with YouTube can only post videos up to 15 minutes, so check your channel in YouTube Studio before you send a longer one.
How do I remove Postfjord's access?
Press Disconnect under Channels, or remove Postfjord in your Google Account under Security. Postfjord then deletes the channel's access and the YouTube links on your posts.
