What it does
Hermes Agent is an open source agent from Nous Research. It runs on your own computer or server and learns skills as it works. Connect it to Postfjord and ask it to check your calendar, plan a week of posts or write drafts in your brand voice. You sign in with your Postfjord login and pick what Hermes may do.
It is included from the Solo plan, and only the workspace owner can connect it. We tested it with Postfjord on October 6, 2026.
Connect in three steps
- In a terminal, run
hermes mcp add postfjord --url https://app.postfjord.com/api/mcp --auth oauth. - A browser opens. Sign in to Postfjord and pick the workspace and what Hermes may do.
- Press Allow within 30 seconds. If you miss it, run the command again.
What moves where
- From Postfjord to Hermes: what the level allows it to read, like your calendar, brand profile, post results, Inbox and automations.
- From Hermes to Postfjord: the drafts it writes, and with the top level the posts it schedules.
- The connection gets its own key under Settings, Apps, Your keys. Remove it there and Hermes is disconnected.

Where does Hermes run?
On your own computer or on a server you choose. Postfjord runs its side for you, so you install nothing for Postfjord.
What did you test?
Hermes listed the channels, read the brand profile, wrote a draft and found it in the calendar, read analytics, the Inbox, automations and pages, and removed the draft again.
