What the plan is based on
Threads is a place for short talk, so it lives in the moments people have a minute: the morning before work, lunch, and the evening. The planner gives the morning more weight than on Instagram, because people read the day's talk early, and keeps the evening strong. At the weekend it moves the morning later.
A thread lives on its replies. When it goes out while your followers are awake, the first replies come sooner, and replies are what keep a thread in front of people.
Find where your followers live
Threads shows insights in the app. Open your profile, tap Insights, and look for your followers. With enough followers, Threads shows their top countries and cities.
Many Threads followers also follow you on Instagram. If Threads shows no locations yet, use the Top locations from your Instagram Insights.
Use the plan
- Post at the times in the plan for two weeks.
- Answer replies in the first hour. A thread with a conversation keeps going.
- Compare the views and replies of each post in Threads insights. Keep the times that beat your usual.
