What the plan is based on
TikTok is watched in longer sessions, and the longest come late: after school, after work and into the evening. Lunch and the morning commute have shorter ones. At the weekend the planner moves the morning later and keeps the evening strong. These are the hours the planner's TikTok rules weigh highest.
TikTok shows videos to people who do not follow you, through the For You feed. Your followers are the first people a new video meets, though, so posting while they are awake helps a video get its first views.
Find your followers' territories
- Open TikTok and go to your profile.
- Open the menu, then Creator tools or Business suite, then Analytics.
- Open Followers. You see the top territories and the hours your followers are most active.
Type the top territories or cities into the planner with their share. For a large country, pick its biggest cities.
Use the plan
- Post at the times in the plan for two weeks.
- In TikTok Analytics, compare the views in the first day of each video. Keep the times that beat your usual.
- Your followers' most active hours, on the same Followers screen, are your own data. If they disagree with the plan, trust them and test them.

Does the time matter if most views come from the For You feed?

Should I post more than once a day on TikTok?
If you have the videos, yes, and the planner spreads two a day at least three hours apart when you ask for more than seven posts a week.
Does the planner use my TikTok account?
No. You type in the numbers yourself. Nothing is sent to Postfjord or saved.
